Length of time

Crisp, juicy, clear: The Nashi (Japanese pear) has long been cultivated in Japan and represents a very precise fruit culture there – crisp rather than melting, with a clean, fresh profile. In Japan, particularly beautiful fruits are often treated as a high-quality gift : carefully selected, flawlessly harvested, consciously enjoyed – this is exactly the attitude we appreciate about the Nashi.

Expected first harvest: possible from late summer 2026 (depending on weather & development)
Harvest interval: annually between August and October (depending on the weather)

We work in harmony with nature : living soil, diversity around the tree and lots of manual labor – without synthetic pesticides .

Two options for your sponsorship

Option 1: Classic sponsorship (based on duration)
1 year · 3 years · 5 years (discount for longer terms)

Option 2: Replanting (sponsorship for the first 5 harvests)
We're planting a new Nashi tree – your sponsorship will then cover the first five harvests . (When the first harvest starts depends on the weather and the tree's development.)

Included in your sponsorship:

  • Personalized sponsorship certificate (digital)

  • Season updates with photo & short note

  • Contribution to care (pruning, soil, protection)

  • Optional: Tree sign with name / dedication

Variety selection: After you place your order, we will write to you personally – we will then clarify the variety via email, depending on availability.

Harvesting & Use: You can harvest it yourself or we can do it for you. Nashi pears are ideal fresh (crisp & juicy) – and depending on the season, also for preserving or as a clear, light ingredient in cooking & drinks.

Flowering and harvest can vary depending on the weather – nature remains nature.
And if June brings rain, it supplies the tree precisely in the phase after flowering, when the cells in the young fruit pulp are being built up – this supports calm, even growth and often shows itself quite concretely later: more volume, plumper fruit pulp, more juice.
