A tree with its own unique aesthetic: blossom, structure, fruit – clear, graphic, almost like an object. The pomegranate brings warmth to the garden, but for us it is above all one thing: an experiment that may or may not succeed.
Expected first (small) harvest: from autumn 2028 (depending on weather and development)
Harvest interval: annually in autumn (depending on weather conditions)
We work in harmony with nature : living soil, diversity around the tree and lots of manual labor – without synthetic pesticides .
Important: Experiment, not a promise
Pomegranates don't thrive in our climate. Depending on the winter, late frosts, or cool periods , flowering, fruit set, or harvest may fail . Your sponsorship therefore supports not only a tree, but also our experiment: finding out what works here in the long term (including protective measures, site management, and care).
Two options for your sponsorship
Option 1: Classic sponsorship (based on duration)
1 year · 3 years · 5 years (discount for longer terms)
Option 2: Replanting (sponsorship for the first 5 harvests)
We're planting a new pomegranate tree – your sponsorship will then cover the first five harvests from this tree. (When the first harvest starts depends on development and weather – and in extreme cases, it may not occur at all.)
Included in your sponsorship:
-
Personalized sponsorship certificate (digital)
-
Season updates with photo & short note
-
Contribution to maintenance (pruning, soil, protection / possibly winter protection)
-
Optional: Tree sign with name / dedication
Variety selection: After you place your order, we will write to you personally – we will then clarify the variety via email, depending on availability.
Flowering and harvest can vary depending on the weather – nature remains nature.
And if June brings rain, it stabilizes the water supply around the time of flowering and early fruit set – this can help young fruits to “stay on” better and develop more evenly.
